I have worked with Laurie from NorTek for about six months and she has been nothing but a pleasure. I know she has many people to keep happy but she makes me feel like I am her only client. We have a very busy home life with our three kids and Laurie stays on top of everything from scheduling to documents so I don’t have to think about it. I have been working with NorTek Medical and Vincent Burger for a long while now and can highly recommend them for your physician staffing needs. Whether you use Locums or prefer permanent placement, you can’t choose a more professional team. Whenever I had an issue, it was dealt with immediately (even if I texted/called Vincent when he was off!). Applications and physician’s credentials were organized and submitted swiftly so that we were able to obtain privileges. There were times that Vincent had to help with the verification/credentialing process and he was willing to do whatever it took to obtain the end result – and that was a physician having privileges and able to work! Therefore, as I’ve already said, I highly recommend NorTek and Vincent Burger.

I am the Chief Nursing Officer at a small hospital in North Mississippi that is affiliated with a large hospital system. I am responsible for scheduling our Emergency Room Physicians, two of which we employ and they both work fulltime hours ( 14 shifts per month). The remainder of the months schedule is covered through Nortek Medical. We have been working with Nortek for the past 2 years. I work mainly with Vincent Burger for coverage in the emergency department and have found him to be excellent. He is very detailed, works rapidly to cover the vacant shifts and has always met the needs of the hospital. We have been very pleased with Nortek and with Vincent to the extent that when we decided to add some Internal Medicine Hospitalist coverage on weekends, we turned to Nortek. Vincent has sent quality physicians that are a” good fit” for our hospital. He is proactive and is always a step ahead of our needs. Vincent is a pleasure to work with and he gives 110% to meet our needs. Over the past 40+ years that I have been dealing with contract companies to staff our Emergency Rooms, Nortek and Vincent are the best to work with, no task is to large. I appreciate Vincent’s dedication and his desire to do the very best job he can to assure that our patients are cared for.

I have always had a wonderful experience working locum tenens with my consultant Jen. She truly cares about my needs and works hard to find opportunities in places that make sense for me – location and types of facilities. I originally began being a locums physician doing a favor for a friend. That was three years ago, and I had no idea at that time I’d be launching a career! I am very happy with NorTek and specifically Gigi. Idy Suzana has been an enormous help to me. Staffing an Emergency Department with quality physicians is a hard job for any hospital. It is a much bigger challenge for a small facility.
