Manager – Mississippi Medical Center

I am the Chief Nursing Officer at a small hospital in North Mississippi that is affiliated with a large hospital system. I am responsible for scheduling our Emergency Room Physicians, two of which we employ and they both work fulltime hours ( 14 shifts per month). The remainder of the months schedule is covered through Nortek Medical. We have been working with Nortek for the past 2 years. I work mainly with Vincent Burger for coverage in the emergency department and have found him to be excellent. He is very detailed, works rapidly to cover the vacant shifts and has always met the needs of the hospital. We have been very pleased with Nortek and with Vincent to the extent that when we decided to add some Internal Medicine Hospitalist coverage on weekends, we turned to Nortek. Vincent has sent quality physicians that are a” good fit” for our hospital. He is proactive and is always a step ahead of our needs. Vincent is a pleasure to work with and he gives 110% to meet our needs. Over the past 40+ years that I have been dealing with contract companies to staff our Emergency Rooms, Nortek and Vincent are the best to work with, no task is to large. I appreciate Vincent’s dedication and his desire to do the very best job he can to assure that our patients are cared for.
